(Guan Zhong) (725 BC-645 BC)
His surname is (Guan), his parents gave him the name (Yiwu), when he grew up, his friend called him (Zhong), and he was born in Anhui Province, China.

A wind instrument similar to flute, also one of the Chinese surnames

The second-ranked man among the brothers.

He is an outstanding politician. He is known as one of the most capable prime ministers in Chinese history.

About (Guan Zhong). There is a story about him in the history book.

The King of the Kingdom of Qi is dead, and the two brothers of the King want to be the new King.

(Guan Zhong) helped the older brother of the brothers, but the result was that the younger brother succeeded in becoming king.

The new king sent soldiers to hunt down (Guan Zhong). After successfully capturing (Guan Zhong), the soldiers escorted (Guan Zhong) back to Qi Kingdom.

Since (Guan Zhong) was a prisoner, the soldiers only gave him a little water and food.

The escorted team reached a border city in Qi Kingdom .

An official in this city saw that (Guan Zhong) was almost starving to death. The official secretly took food and water for (Guan Zhong) to eat.

After Guan Zhong finished eating these foods, the official told (Guan Zhong).

I heard that the new king appreciates your talents. Therefore, after you return to the capital, the king will not only release you, but even reuse you. You must give me a good return by then.

(Guan Zhong) answered the official. If I were released and reused when I returned to the capital, I promised you and I will definitely repay you.

The way I repay you is to be fair and just, and find some truly talented people to serve the country.

The official felt ashamed after hearing (Guan Zhong)'s answer.

押解的隊伍到了一座齊國的邊境城市。

這座城市中的一個官員看見(管仲)已經快餓死了。這個官員便偷偷的拿了食物與水給(管仲)吃。

管仲吃完這些食物後,這個官員對(管仲)說。

我聽說新的國王很欣賞你的才能。因此在你回到首都後,國王不但會釋放你,甚至會重用你,你到時候千萬要好好的回報我啊。

(管仲)回答這個官員說。如果我回到首都的時候,被釋放而且被重用,我答應你、我一定會好好報答你。

我報答你的方式就是公平公正,找一些真正有才能的人來為國家服務。

這官員聽到(管仲)的回答之後,覺得很慚愧。
