Min Sheng (536 BC-487 BC)

His surname is (Min). His parents gave him the name (Sheng), and his friends called him (Zi qian) when he grew up. His birthplace was not recorded in detail.

About (Zi qian). There is a story about him in the history book.

(Zi qian) His mother passed away when he was very young. His father married a new wife.

The father and the stepmother gave birth to two more sons. The stepmother treated (Zi qian) very badly, but she treated her child very well.

One winter, the stepmother made three new clothes for three children.

The stepmother filled the inner layers of two of the clothes with expensive but warm cotton. She gave these two clothes to her own child.

The stepmother fills the inner layer of another piece of clothing with reeds that are not valuable and do not keep warm. She gave (Zi qian) this dress.

One day, (Zi qian) drove the carriage and took his father out. (Zi qian) sat in the driver's seat. He was trembling all the time because of the cold wind, and his frozen hand could not hold the reins.

Suddenly, the carriage overturned.

The father climbed out of the dump carriage, and when he saw (Zi qian) lying on the side, he hurried over and picked up (Zi qian) to check his injury.

At this time, his father was surprised to see from (Ziqian)'s torn clothes, which was filled with reeds.

His father was very angry and immediately asked for a divorce from his wife as soon as he returned home.

When (Zi qian) heard that his father wanted to divorce his stepmother, he instead pleaded for his stepmother.

(Zi qian) said to his father, in this situation, only me suffers, but if you divorce, I and my two younger brothers, a total of three people will lose the warmth of the family.

His father and stepmother shed tears when they heard what (Zi qian) said.

His father did not divorce his stepmother.

The stepmother also knew that her previous behavior was wrong. She later treated (Zi qian) as well as her own children.

有一年的冬天，繼母做了三件新衣服給三個小孩。

繼母在其中兩件衣服的內層中，填入昂貴但保暖的棉花。她將這兩件衣服給自已生的小孩。

繼母在另一件衣服的內層中，填入不值錢而且不保暖的蘆葦。她將這件衣服給(子騫)。

有一天，(子騫)駕駛著馬車、載父親出門，(子騫)坐在駕駛座，他被寒冷的風吹得身體一直發抖，他凍僵的手抓不住韁繩。

突然間，馬車便翻車了。

父親從傾倒的馬車中爬出來，他看見(子騫)倒臥一旁，他便趕緊過去抱起(子騫)，檢查他的傷勢。

在這時候，他的父親驚訝地從(子騫)破掉的衣服中看見，裡面竟然填充蘆葦。

他的父親非常的生氣，一回到家裡便立刻要求與自已的妻子離婚。

當(子騫)聽見父親要與繼母離婚，他反而替繼母求情。

(子騫)對他的父親說，現在這種狀況，只有我一個人受苦，但是如果你們離了婚，我和兩個弟弟，總共有三個人都將失去家庭的溫暖。

他的父親與繼母聽到(子騫)說的話，都流下了眼淚。

他的父親後來沒有跟繼母離婚。

繼母也知道自已從前的行為是錯誤的，她後來對待(子騫)與自已的孩子都是一樣的好。
