Did you ask the right person

During the Spring and Autumn Period in China, the king of the Lu Kingdom hoped to improve the effectiveness of the government.

He summoned (Zuo Qiuming) who had studied the history of the kingdom.

The king told {Zuo Qiuming}. .

Confucius is a man of high morals, so I am going to hire him to take charge of the Judicial Court in the kingdom.

Because this position is very important, I will first invite some ministers in the kingdom to discuss it.

(Zuo Qiuming) Answered the king. Everyone will definitely oppose this matter.

The king was very curious. He asked (Zuo Qiuming) why are you so sure that everyone will oppose this appointment.

(Zuo Qiuming) told a story.

Once there was a man who wanted to make a leather jacket, so he went to the place where foxes lived in the forest.

He said to the foxes. I am going to make a leather jacket. Who of you wants to give me the fur?

As soon as he finished saying this, all the foxes hurriedly hid.

This person wants to cook a pot of broth. He went to the place where the sheep lived in the forest.

He said to the sheep, I want to cook broth. Who of you wants to give me the meat?

As soon as he finished saying this, all the sheep ran away.

(Zuo Qiuming) said his conclusion at this time.

My king, because the administrative officials of our kingdom are becoming more and more corrupt,

So you want to hire this clean and honest Confucius as a judicial officer to supervise them.

This personnel order will obviously harm their interests. How could these vested interests agree?

So I suggest you, if you find someone to discuss this matter, you find people who have no stake in the decision. You can get the correct result.

The king nodded in agreement.

This idiom is used to describe a thing, if the thing you want to do is in conflict with the interests of others, this thing is impossible to accomplish.

Dear friend, what inspiration or thoughts did you have after hearing this story.

Do you agree with (Zuo Qiuming)'s point of view? Do you consider the person's position before asking other people's questions?

I hope this story will give you some new gains.

(Did you ask the right person)
