I have used up all my skills(黔驢技窮)

During the Tang Dynasty in China, there was a famous writer. His name is (Liu Zongyuan).

He wrote a story.

There are no donkeys in this place in (Guizhou).

A man brought a donkey from afar to sell it. But if no one wanted to buy it, he gave the donkey freedom.

This donkey lives a leisurely life every day. He eats grass every day and then goes to sleep.

There was a tiger living on a nearby mountain. One day, this tiger went down and wandered around.

Suddenly, he found a tall strange animal grazing leisurely on the grass.

The tiger was very curious, so he hid among the trees and peeked at the donkey.

After a while, the tiger approached the donkey very carefully. It wanted to observe the donkey carefully.

When the donkey saw the tiger approaching him, the donkey yelled.

The tiger was taken aback. It quickly turned around and ran back to the mountain.

In the next week, the tiger was too curious, so he often came to take a peek at the donkey, the tiger is also used to the call of the donkey.

One day, the tiger plucked up the courage again and slowly approached the donkey.

This time, because the distance was too close, he was almost touching the donkey's body. The donkey was very angry, so he raised his hind leg to kick the tiger.

The tiger was very agile and immediately avoided the attack.

After another week, the tiger observed every day and often approached the donkey.

Tiger finally got a conclusion. This strange animal has no combat power, it just yells and kicks.

When the tiger was hungry the next day, the tiger pounced on the donkey, and then ate it.

After (Liu Zongyuan) finished writing this story, he brought out his thoughts.

If the eaten donkey can keep calm and don't easily let the tiger know that he has no ability, the donkey may not be eaten so quickly.

This idiom is used to describe a person's skills are very limited, and all skills have been used up.

Dear friend, what inspiration or thoughts did you have after hearing this story.

Do you think you are this donkey or this tiger? If you think your own skills are not enough, how do you strengthen your skills now?

I hope this story will give you some new gains.

(I have used up all my skills)
