The era of the Han Dynasty in China is divided
into two periods.
In the middle of the two periods, there was
a very short-lived regime. This regime lasted only 15 years from 9 AD to 23 AD.
Two years after the end of this brief
regime. China is divided by many warlords, of which three warlords are
relatively powerful.
There is a person whose name is (Ma Yuan).
He believed that the one who finally unified the whole of China was one of
these three warlords.

of the warlords. The name of this warlord is (Gongsunshu).

willing to help me, I will be a general for you.

But he smiled and did not agree.
That night, he left this place.
His friend asked him.
Why don't you accept this position?
He says.
(Gongsunshu) is currently only a warlord in
a small area, but he behaves as if he already owns the whole of China.
He is very arrogant, there are no good
people around him, and there are people around him who only flatter him.
He is very arrogant. So I think the force
he leads will soon be defeated.
Facts have proved that his view is correct.
The team led by (Gongsunshu) quickly
decayed and was wiped out.
This idiom means that a person is very

有一個人，他的名字叫做(馬援)。他認為最後統一全中國的，就是這三個軍閥的其中之一。
有一次，他有機會去拜訪了其中一個軍閥。這個軍閥的名字叫做(公孫述)。
(公孫述)與他是同一個故鄉的人，他們兩個從小就熟識。
(公孫述)見到他後就先帶著他一起閱兵。
然後(公孫述)派遣了一個部屬帶他去換了一套全新的衣服。
換好衣服後、他被帶到一個大宴會廳中。
宴會廳中所有人都對(公孫述)非常的恭敬，(公孫述)就像是一個國王一樣。
(公孫述)對他說，如果你願意來協助我，我給你當大將軍。
全場的人都拍手叫好。
但他微笑沒有答應。
當天晚上，他就離開了這個地方。
他的朋友問他。
你為何不接受這個職位呢。
他說。
(公孫述)目前只是一個小區域的軍閥，但他的表現卻像是他已經擁有整個中國。
他非常自大，他身邊沒有優秀的人才，他身邊都是一些只會奉承他的人。
他非常的傲慢。所以我認為他所領導的這股勢力，很快就會被擊敗。
事實證明他的看法是對的。
(公孫述)所領導的團隊，很快就衰敗並且被消滅。
這句成語的意思是，一個人很自大。
