He used improper means to obtain these
things(巧偷豪奪)
There was a famous painter in the Song
Dynasty. His name is (Mi Fu).
There is a story about him in the history
book.
He is a great painter, and he also has a
high appreciation ability.
He collected many precious paintings and
calligraphy works.
Once, he took a boat trip with a friend.
His friend said to him mysteriously.
I recently collected a great calligraphy
work. do you want to see.
He said yes.
This friend brought out a calligraphy work.
He said after appreciating this calligraphy
work.
This calligraphy work is amazing. I like it
very much. Please give it to me.
The friend shook his head and said.
Why should I give you this calligraphy
work.
He heard this answer.
He ran to the side of the ship and shouted.
If you don't give it to me, I will jump off
the boat and I will commit suicide.
His friend was taken aback and hurried to
appease him.
There is another story.
Another friend of his has a great Chinese
painting.
He said to this friend.
Can this Chinese painting be loaned to me
for a month?
I want to appreciate this Chinese painting.
This friend said it’s okay.
After he took the painting home, he
carefully studied the brushstrokes and techniques of the painting.
He copied and painted four Chinese
paintings that were almost identical.
One month later, it was time to return the
painting.
He put five paintings on the table and said
to this friend.
The paintings of this artist are really
great. I also collected four works of this artist before.
Those four works are almost exactly the
same as yours.
I accidentally confused.
I can't be sure which one of your Chinese
paintings is.
I believe that you can confirm which piece
of Chinese painting you have collected.
You can take away the piece of Chinese
painting that belongs to you from these paintings.
This friend is very distressed because he
can't be sure which one is authentic.
But this friend had no choice but to
reluctantly choose a Chinese painting.
In this way, he used deception to obtain
many works that did not originally belong to him.
This idiom is used to describe a person who
uses improper methods to take some property that does not belong to him.
Dear friend, what inspiration or thoughts
did you have after hearing this story.
Do you have any favorite things? Do you
think you own these things and can take them away after you die?
I hope this story will give you some new
gains.
(He used improper means to obtain
these things)
