During the Warring States Period in China,
a war broke out between the Kingdom of Chu and the Kingdom of Jin, and the
Kingdom of Jin was defeated.
At the celebration banquet of the Kingdom
of Chu, a minister of the Kingdom of Chu said to the king.
We won a great victory in this battle. We
should build a high platform. People in the future will commemorate this great
battle when they see this high platform.
The king shook his head and said.
I do not agree with your suggestion. Please
let me explain my thoughts.
The king continued.
The Chinese word "strength" is a
combination of the Chinese words "stop" and " weapons ".
Therefore, when we see this word, we must
remember the wisdom contained in it.
Put away our weapons.
In ancient Chinese history, the king of the
Shang Dynasty was defeated by the king of the Zhou Dynasty because of tyranny.
