A Buddhist scripture circulated in China
contains a story.
The Buddha had an important disciple, whose
name was (A Nan).
Once, in the process of practicing, he was
tempted and almost broke the precept.
Fortunately, the Buddha found out about
this, so he rescued him.
When he saw the Buddha he cried because he
felt remorse.
He is recognized by all the students as the
person who has the best memory and can recite the most Buddhist scriptures, but
this time he almost broke the precept.
The Buddha saw his regret, but did not
directly tell him what to do.
On the contrary, the Buddha asked him
questions in depth, allowing him to reflect on why he made this mistake.
When he answered the eighth question the
Buddha asked him, he finally understood the misunderstanding in his thinking.
In order to express his gratitude to the
Buddha for his teachings, he adopted the highest level of salute in ancient
India.
He knelt on the ground and then touched his
elbows and forehead to the ground.
He said, thank the teacher for your
guidance, let me discover my own problem and find the answer to this question.
This idiom is used as a metaphor for one
person admiring another person very much.

佛陀有一個重要的弟子，這個弟子的名字叫做(阿楠)。
有一次，他在修行的過程中，受到了誘惑所以差點就要破戒。
還好佛陀發現了這件事情所以出手解救了他。
當他見到佛陀時他哭了因為他感到懊悔。
他是所有學生公認的記憶力最好，能夠背誦最多佛教經典的人，但這一次卻差點破戒。
佛陀看見他的後悔，但卻沒有直接告訴他應該怎麼做。
相反的，佛陀藉由不斷深入地問他問題的方式，讓他自己去反思為何自已會犯這個錯誤。
當他回答到佛陀問他的第八個問題的時候，他終於明白了自已的思維中的誤區。
他為了表示他很感謝佛陀的教誨，他採取了一個古印度最高等級的行禮方式。
他跪在地上接著手肘著地、額頭著地。
他說，謝謝老師的指導，讓我發現我自已的問題以及找到這個問題的答案。
這句成語被用來比喻一個人非常地欽佩另外一個人。
