A kind of bug that imitates your speech(應聲蟲)

A kind of bug that imitates your speech(應聲蟲)

There was an official in the Song Dynasty of China whose name was (Wu Jian). He wrote a collection of essays. There is a very interesting story inside.

There is a middle-aged man whose name is (Yang Mian). He has a very strange disease.

As long as he speaks, his stomach will make a sound.

The sound is like a person imitating what he said

He was troubled, but he searched all the doctors and couldn't cure him, so he had to give up.

One day, he happened to meet a strange Taoist priest.

When the two of them were talking, his stomach kept making the sound of his speech.

The Taoist priest looked at him in surprise.

He said embarrassedly.

I'm sick, and I'm trying to cure it, but I can't find a way.

Taoist said.

I saw a record in an ancient classic book that there was a person who lived with the same disease as you.

So I think there is a strange parasite in your stomach, this parasite will imitate the human voice.

He asks.

Does the book you mentioned record how to treat this disease?

Taoist said.

Yes, and this method is very simple.

You go to find an important Chinese medicine book in ancient China. This book is called (Shen Nong's Materia Medica).

He asks.

Then what should I do.

Taoist said.

You read the book aloud from the first page. If your stomach does not make a corresponding sound when you recite that medicine, you should write down the name of the medicine.

He did.

He asks.

What should I do next.

Taoist said.

You go to buy these special drugs that will not cause your stomach to react.

After returning home, boil it and drink the concoction.

He did.

The day after he finished drinking this bowl of concoction, his illness would heal.

This idiom is used to describe a person who does not have his own opinion, he is always echoing others.

Dear friend, how do you feel or think after hearing this story.

Do you think modern mainstream medicine has its limitations? Do you take Western medicine or Chinese medicine more often?

I hope this story will give you some new gains.

(A kind of bug that imitates your speech)
