He face turned red from tension and anger(面紅耳赤)

The famous book (The Analects of Confucius) records a story about Confucius.

A student asked.

There is a very famous political figure in the Kingdom of Chu.

During his political career, he was hired as prime minister three times, and then removed three times.

He was not proud or complacent when he became prime minister.

When he became a civilian, he had no grudges or complaints.

He kept smiling and calm at all times.

In the process of handing over his duties, he explained all the big and small matters clearly and did not hide it at all.

May I ask the teacher, how do you evaluate him?

Confucius replied.

I think he is a loyal man.

During the Southern Song Dynasty in China. There is a famous Confucian scholar whose name is (Zhu Xi).

In response to this story, he put forward his views.

He said.

I admire this politician of the Chu Kingdom very much.

There are many people in order to strive for some small benefits or to avoid some small losses.

These people were so nervous or angry that their entire faces turned red.

Many people deliberately conceal something for their own benefit during the transfer of duties.

Compared with the politicians of the Chu Kingdom, these people's self-cultivation is really too low.

This idiom is used to describe a person's whole face turning red because of tension or anger.

Dear friend, what inspiration or thoughts did you have after hearing this story.

Under what circumstances will you be so nervous or angry that your entire face turns red? Are you an upright person?

I hope this story will give you some new gains.

(He face turned red from tension and anger)
