Your behavior is redundant and repetitive(疊床架屋)

During the period of the Northern and Southern Dynasties of China, there was a famous writer whose name was Yan Zhitui.

He wrote a book to teach his children. This book still affects many Chinese people so far.

The title of this book is Yan's Family Instructions.

He wrote in the preface of this book.

Since ancient times, many wise people have used the many classic books they wrote to remind us to be a noble person, to be filial, to be cautious about what we say, and to reflect on ourselves.

The reason I wrote this book is because I have read these classic books since I was a child, but I only realize how important these reminders are when I really practice.

Many readers in modern times will think that contemporary authors do not have their own unique viewpoints, and the content written by contemporary authors repeats the principles in these classic books.

We authors are like building a small house in a big house. We authors are like putting a small bed on a big bed.

Our books without innovative views are redundant and useless.

So I am here to explain why I wrote this book.

The audience for this book is you my juniors and my dearest family members. This book is not a publicly released book.

Because I think I am the person you are close to, and the elder you admire, I hope to share my experience and my feelings directly with you.

I think the code of conduct I said is the same as the code of conduct that you can learn from the ancient classics, but because you trust me with me, you will be more able to accept some of the views I shared with you.

The meaning of this idiom is to describe a thing that is repetitive and redundant. .

Dear friend, what inspiration or thoughts did you have after hearing this story.

Do you agree with him? Do you think about how to make others accept your opinion?

I hope this story will give you some new gains

(Your behavior is redundant and repetitive)
