He sees but doesn't seem to see it.(熟視不睹)

There are seven people in the Jin Dynasty in China, and they should be the earliest hippie group in the world.

People call them the Seven Celebrities of the Bamboo Forest.

They pursue the inner nature and purity, they hate the hypocrisy of those in power and despise those who are obsessed with money and power. They drank mineral powders, drank alcohol, and played music.

One of them was one of the most famous drinkers in Chinese history. His name is (Liu Ling).

He wrote an article about drinking.

The third paragraph of this article is as follows.

This great man sat before these critics,

He seems to be suddenly drunk and unconscious, but then suddenly sober again.

You can't tell if he's really drunk or fake.

He was so quiet that even a sudden thunderstorm would not disturb him.

He looked straight ahead, but if there was a huge mountain in front of him, he shouldn't be able to see either.

He seems to be out of this world, he has no sense of time, and he looks at the people in front of him without emotion.

Like a creator, he looks down on everything in this world.

In his eyes, all things are as insignificant as duckweed in a big river.

The people in front of him were like little insects.

This idiom is used to describe a person who sees something but doesn't seem to see it.

Dear friends, what inspiration or thoughts do you have after listening to this story?

Why do you think he wrote this article? What emotion do you think he was trying to convey?

I hope this story will give you something new

(He sees but doesn't seem to see it.)
