In the Song Dynasty there was a famous monk
named Shi Daoyuan, who wrote a book.
In this book, the life stories of 1701
important Zen monks are recorded.
One of them is described below.
In the city of Yongzhou, there is a famous
monk who is called Zen Master Tai pingan.
At one point, he shared his feelings in
class.
He says.
For profit, merchants will transport the
city's specialties to other cities to sell to earn the difference.
The city we live in is rich in products and
convenient in transportation, so there are many businessmen doing business in
this city.
Prices of agricultural products such as
white rice and radishes were stable.
The prices of these agricultural products
are similar in any place in the city, so all the people buy their daily
agricultural products near their homes.
Residents in this city can easily enjoy
these rich products of nature and live a peaceful and happy life.
In ancient China, if there were some great
deeds worth recording, these great deeds were often written down and engraved
on the tablet, so that future generations who saw the tablet could remember
this great deed.
Residents of the city are satisfied and
praise life now.
We don't have to write and engrave these
words of praise on a stone tablet, because these words of praise come out of
everyone's mouth every day.
