Famous all over the world (名顯天下)
During the Warring States Period of China,
there was a famous general in the Kingdom of Wei, whose name was (Sun Bin).
There is a story about him in the history
books.
In 342 BC, the combined armies of the
Kingdom of Wei and the Kingdom of Zhao attacked the Kingdom of Han.
The Qi Kingdom sent an army to assist the
Han Kingdom. He served as the military division of this army.
The name of the general who led the army of
the Wei Kingdom was (Pang Juan).
More than ten years ago, (Pang Juan) framed
him and made him a criminal so he lost his legs.
The two sides have not yet officially
fought against each other, but the situation is unfavorable for the Qi Kingdom.
So (Sun Bin) came up with a plan.
(Pang Juan) was deceived by him.
(Pang Juan) He thought that there were only
a few soldiers left in the Qi Kingdom's army.
(Pang Juan) quickly pursued day and night
with the most elite cavalry in the army, (Pang Juan) wanted to catch him and
kill him.
On the evening of the fourth day, Pang Juan
and the cavalry entered a canyon.
They moved forward slowly.
Suddenly they saw that the road ahead was
blocked by some huge tree trunks.
Since the sun had gone down at this time
and the valley was very dark, (Pang Juan) ordered the soldiers of the cavalry
team to immediately light the torches and remove the trunks.
But when the soldiers lit the torches,
everyone was taken aback.
Because he saw this pile of tree trunks in
the middle of the road, and the front one had a large piece of bark peeled off
to reveal white wood.
And on this piece of white wood were
written a few words.
Pang Juan will die here today.
(Pang Juan) shouted.
All of us immediately retreated.
But it was too late.
Soldiers of the Qi Kingdom hiding on both
sides of the canyon shot arrows at them.
The number of these arrows was so large
that it was like rain.
(Pang Juan) Seeing the soldiers of the
surrounding cavalry die one by one, he knew that it was impossible for him to
escape.
Before he was shot to death by an arrow, he
took up his own sword and killed himself.
After this battle, people all over China
recognized him as a very powerful military strategist.
People scrambled to learn his art of war.

但是當這些士兵們點燃火把後，所有人都嚇了一跳。
因為他看見這堆在路中間的樹幹中，最前面的那一根上面有一大片樹皮被剝掉露出白色的木頭。
而在這一片白色的木頭上寫著幾個字。
龐涓今日會死在這裡。
(龐涓)大叫。
我們所有人立刻撤退。
但是已經來不及了。
躲藏在峽谷兩旁的齊王國的士兵們向他們射箭。
這些箭的數量太多了，就好像下雨一樣。
(龐涓)看見周圍騎兵隊的士兵們一個個的死去，他知道自已已經不可能逃脫了。
在他被箭射死之前，他拿起自已的劍自刎。
經過這場戰役，全中國的人都認可他是一個非常厲害的軍事家。
人們爭相學習他的兵法。
