During the Warring States Period of China,
there was a famous general whose name was (Wu Qi).
His life was full of controversies, and the
history books recorded a story about him.
He was from the state of Wei, and when he
was young he killed several neighbors who mocked him.
In order to avoid punishment, he fled to
the Kingdom of Lu.
After he met a girl from the Qi Kingdom in
the Kingdom of Lu, he married the girl.
He studied with an important scholar of
Confucianism in the Kingdom of Lu. He became a man of knowledge.
One day, a man came to the Kingdom of Wei,
and the man said to him.
Your mother is dead, you should go back to
mourning.
He said to the man.
I made a promise that I would go back to my
hometown when I had a lot of power and was very successful.
I haven't reached my goal yet, so I'm not
going back.
When his teacher heard about this, he
thought he was a very ruthless person.
His teacher told him.
You are a ruthless person, I don't want to
be your teacher anymore, please leave my classroom.
After he left the Confucian scholar's
classroom, he went to study the art of war with a famous retired general of the
Kingdom of Lu.
Because of this general's relationship, he
entered the central government of the Kingdom of Lu as a low-ranking military
attache.
A few years later, the Kingdom of Lu
encountered a major event.
The Kingdom of Qi sent an army to attack
the Kingdom of Lu. The king of the Kingdom of Lu sent several generals to lead
the army to resist the attack of the Kingdom of Qi, but all these generals
failed, so the king of the Kingdom of Lu was very distressed.
At a meeting, he said to the king of the Lu
Kingdom.
Please assign me to lead the army to resist
the attack of the Qi Kingdom. I am confident that I can successfully repel the
Qi Kingdom.
The king of Lu Kingdom didn't think he had

齊王國派出軍隊攻打魯王國，魯王國的國王派遣了好幾個將軍率領軍隊去抵擋齊王國的進攻但是都這幾個將軍都失敗了，因此魯王國的國王很苦惱。
在一次會議上，他對魯王國的國王說。
請你指派我率領軍隊去抵抗齊王國的攻擊，我有信心可以成功的擊退齊王國。
魯王國的國王不認為他有這個能力，所以國王找了一個理由敷衍他。
國王對他說。
因為你的妻子的祖國是齊王國，所以你會受你妻子的影響，你會無法盡全力抵抗齊王國。
當天回家之後他殺了他的妻子。
隔天，他又去見魯王國的國王，他對魯王國的國王說。
我的妻子已經被我殺了，我發誓我會全心的效忠魯王國。
請你相信我，請你給我一個機會，我一定可以帶領著魯王國的軍隊成功抵擋齊王國的攻擊。
魯王國的國王很勉強地答應他的請求，他成了魯王國的將軍。
魯王國的軍隊雖然遠比齊王國的軍隊弱小，但是他憑藉著自已的靈活的頭腦與戰術，幾週後，他成功地擊退齊王國的軍隊。
因為這一場戰役，他的名字被當時的各個王國中的國王所聽聞。
