He is like a mother who spoils her child without principle.

The name of the founding king of the Han Dynasty in Chinese history was (Liu Bang). And the name of the most important general who assisted him in founding the Han Dynasty was (Han Xin).

The story of (Han Xin)'s life is very wonderful, and one of his stories is recorded in history.

In the last years of the Qin Dynasty, there were many resistance forces in China. Among these resistance forces, the two biggest forces are (Xiang Yu) and (Liu Bang).

(Han Xin) first joined (Xiang Yu)'s army. He had put forward his suggestions many times, but (Xiang Yu) did not adopt his opinions. So later he switched to the (Liu Bang) camp.

He was appointed by (Liu Bang) as the commander-in-chief of the Han Kingdom's army.

One day, (Liu Bang) had a conversation with him.

(Liu Bang) asked.

What is your opinion on the current situation in China?

he answered.

Among the various forces in China at present, our kingdom and the Chu Kingdom led by (Xiang Yu) are the most powerful.

After he paused, he asked back (Liu Bang).

I would like to ask you a few questions.

Who do you think is braver between you and Xiang Yu? Who is better in martial arts? Who is more merciful?

Compared with the Kingdom of Chu, which kingdom do you think has a stronger army?

(Liu Bang) answered after a few minutes of silence.

In all these points, I can't compare to him.

He said with a smile.

I agree with your answer.

Xiang Yu is indeed better than you.

But I think he has two fatal flaws.

These two shortcomings are our chances to defeat him.

(Liu Bang) Attracted by his words, Liu Bang listened to him very attentively.

He said.

(Xiang Yu) is a very dignified and capable person, and no one dares to defy his opinion.

Because of this, he was unable to fully delegate power to his subordinates, because he did not trust his subordinates.

He was brave, but he didn't build a strong team.

(Xiang Yu) is a very kind and friendly person, he takes care of his soldiers, so all the soldiers like him very much.

It is also because of this that he manages his army with personal feelings. He has not established a fair system so that his soldiers can be promoted and rewarded for their own military exploits.

Although he is kind, he has no fairness and justice. He is like a mother who spoils her children without principle.

This idiom is used to describe a person who is kind but lacks fairness and justice. This person is like a mother who spoils her child without principle.

Dear friend, what are your feelings or thoughts after hearing this story?

Do you spoil your children? Do you think justice or kindness is more important?

I hope this story can give you some new harvest.

(He is like a mother who spoils her child without principle.)
