The more the merrier(多多益善)

The name of the founding king of the Han Dynasty in Chinese history was (Liu Bang), and the name of the most important general who assisted him in establishing the Han Dynasty was (Han Xin).

The story of (Han Xin)'s life is very wonderful, and one of his stories is recorded in history books.

He was the commander-in-chief of the army of the Kingdom of Han.

One day, Liu Bang had a meeting with him, and the two of them exchanged views on a military general's ability to lead and rule.

Before the meeting was about to end, Liu Bang suddenly asked him with a smile.

We have just made proper arrangements for the positions of all military generals. By the way, I suddenly thought of a question.

He looked at Liu Bang suspiciously.

Liu Bang said.

If I were your subordinate, what do you think of my leadership and command ability, and how many troops I can lead at most.

He thought for a moment and answered.

You can lead an army of 100,000 people, which is the upper limit of the number of people you can lead and command an army.

Liu Bang said.

What about you, how many troops do you think you can lead at most?

He thought about it, he said.

The more troops I can lead, the better.

There is no upper limit to the number of troops I can lead.

Liu Bang asked after listening to his answer.

Since your ability to lead and control is so much better than mine, let me ask you a question.

Why is it that I have the ability to command you now? And not you to command me?

After he heard this question, he knew that Liu Bang had begun to distrust him. Because his ability is better than Liu Bang.

He immediately said respectfully.

You are indeed only suitable for leading 100,000 soldiers, but you have other outstanding abilities that I do not have. You have the ability to lead many military generals.

I think your ability is innate, and I am inferior to you in terms of this ability.

That's why I follow your orders.

Liu Bang smiled with satisfaction.

This idiom means the more the merrier.

Dear friend, what are your feelings or thoughts after hearing this story?

Do you have any special abilities that other people don't have? If you were him, how would you answer?

I hope this story can give you some new harvest.

(The more the merrier)
