He does not listen to other people's advice and insists on doing things in his own way.(一意孤行)

There was a famous minister in the Han Dynasty, his name was (Zhang Tang).

History books record a story about him.

He likes to make friends, whether they are rich or common people, he takes the initiative to make friends.

This habit has been formed since he was young.

As an adult, he served as a government official in the capital, and because of his position, he knew many nobles and celebrities.

Many of these nobles and celebrities appear to have high moral standards on the surface, but these people are actually greedy and have done a lot of bad things.

He despises these people in his heart, but he will not show it, and he will still maintain good interactions with these people.

At that time, there was another very honest minister named (Zhao Yu).

(Zhao Yu) has few friends, and he doesn't like to communicate with other ministers.

Sometimes some other ministers came to visit him, but he would not return the visit.

He is absorbed in his work, and he likes to work alone.

He conducts business independently according to his own opinion.

The king appointed him and (Zhao Yu) to be responsible for formulating new laws, so the two of them became good friends.

When they formulated these laws and regulations, they wrote the provisions very rigorously, and they added a lot of severe criminal penalties.

Because of the two of them, many laws of the Han Dynasty became more and more strict.

This idiom is used to describe a person who does not listen to other people's advice and insists on his own ideas and practices.

Dear friend, what kind of inspiration or thought do you have after hearing this story?

How did you meet your best friend? Do you prefer to work alone or in a team?

I hope this story can give you some new harvest.

(He does not listen to other people's advice and insists on doing things in his own way.)
