Sima Xiangru is one of the most famous
writers in Chinese history.
History books tell a story about him.
After he moved to Linqiong County, some
local businessmen held a welcome banquet for him.
While playing the guqin at the banquet, he
saw a strange and beautiful woman.
He fell in love with her.
Before the end of the banquet, in response
to the enthusiastic applause of all the guests, he played another piece of
Chinese guqin music.
The title of this Chinese guqin piece
became this idiom.
In ancient Chinese legends, there is a rare
and sacred bird called the phoenix.
The content of this Chinese guqin melody
mainly depicts a male phoenix passionately courting a female phoenix.
While he was playing this Chinese guqin
piece, this strange and beautiful woman appeared at the door of the banquet
hall.
The woman's eyes lit up in surprise when
she heard him playing.

Her name was Zhuo Wenjun. Her father was a
