During the Tang Dynasty in China, there was
a famous official who was also a famous writer. His name is (Han Yu).
He wrote a poem to his son to encourage him
to study hard.
The third stanza of the poem is as follows
There was a big puddle on the road because
of the heavy rain.

because there is no new source of water, the puddle will dry up soon after the

中國的唐王朝時代，有一位著名的官員，他也是一個著名的文學家。他的名字是(韓愈)。
他寫過一首詩給他的兒子，他在這首詩中勉勵他的兒子要用功讀書。
這首詩的第三段的大意如下
道路上因為下了大雨所以積了一個很大的水坑。
但就算這個水坑再大，因為沒有新的水源注入，所以太陽出來後不久後這個水坑很快就會乾涸。
我們要持續的學習，我們要不斷的吸取新的知識。
我們要讀古代的經典書籍也要看那些最新的熱門文章。
如果一個人不持續的求知，那這個人就像是穿著人的衣服的牛或是馬，外表看起來像人但是腦袋中卻是無知又愚蠢。
我們需要重視自己的名譽。
但我們要記得這些名聲的基礎是我們仁愛的心與高道德標準。
我們不應該做出一些虛偽的事情。
現在的季節已經進入秋天，天氣變得陰雨而且涼爽。
你應該要把握這個舒服的天氣認真地多念點書。
我從早到晚都惦記著你，我希望你能珍惜光陰。
我寫下這些我的人生經驗與我的勸勉給你。
我希望你可以立下志向專心一意的朝著自已的目標前進。
