He died where he didn't deserve to die(不得其所)

He died where he didn't deserve to die(不得其所)

In the Kingdom of Cao Wei in the Three Kingdoms period of China, there was a famous minister named (Wang Jing).

History books tell a story about him.

He had a good friend from childhood who recommended him to enter the central government of the Cao Wei Kingdom.

Because of his strong working ability, he was quickly promoted and became the governor of a province in a short time.

One day, his mother said to you with great concern.

Our family has been farming for generations, and you are a simple farmer's son.

You have become the governor of a province in a short time, I do not think it is a good thing, you should be vigilant.

He said to his mother with a smile.

You worry too much. I think the situation is good now and I can use my talent to the full.

In 260 AD, the king of the Cao Wei kingdom was killed in a power struggle.

Cao Wei's most powerful general (Sima Zhao) arrested him and sentenced him to death.

Before he was executed, he saw his mother for the last time.

He said to his mother.

I'm a disloyal son, I've been sentenced to death, I can't stay with you until you're old.

His mother stroked his head as if he were a little child.

His mother spoke to him gently but firmly.

None of us can escape death, which is the end we all share.

We don't have to fear death.

What we should be afraid of is dying where we shouldn't, dying at an age we shouldn't.

You insisted on your loyalty to the King of the Kingdom of Cao Wei, so you were sentenced to death.

I think you died for what is right, and I don't feel sorry for you, I'm even happy for you.

This idiom means that a person dies where he should not die.

It can be extended to mean that after a person does something, he does not get the result he wants.

Dear friend, what kind of inspiration or thought do you have after hearing this story?

What do you remember most about your mother? What kind of death do you think is worthwhile?

I hope this story can give you a new harvest.

(He died where he didn't deserve to die)
