we want to strengthen security in our capital, our first priority is to
investigate and arrest those who behave illegally. Even if the person who acted
illegally is a noble or an official, we should try them according to the law.
Hou Wen nodded in agreement with Sun Bao.
Sun Bao asked.
You have lived in the capital for a long
time. Which person do you think we should investigate first?
Hou Wen replied.
I think we should investigate (Du Xuji)
first.

我認為我們應該要開始行動了，我們如果要強化我們首都內的治安，我們的首要之務就是要針對那些行為不法的人進行調查與逮捕。就算這個行為不法的人是貴族或是官員，我們都應該要依照法律去審理他們。
侯文點頭表示認同孫寶的看法。
孫寶問。
你住在首都非常久的時間，你認為，我們應該先優先調查那一個行為不法的人呢?
侯文回答。
我認為我們應該先調查(杜穉季)。
(杜穉季)是當時一個著名的名人，他與皇室的關係非常的好。
孫寶聽到這個回答後，他的臉色有點為難地問。
