國王帶郭玉到皇宮中的一個房間裡。
這個房間裡面有一大塊布幕，從布幕中伸出一雙手。
布幕前有一張桌子與一張椅子。
國王對郭玉說。
我想請你為這個人看診，他是一個皇室成員
他生了一種很奇怪的病而其他的醫生都無法治癒他。
所以我特別帶他來讓你診療。
郭玉點頭答應。
郭玉坐下來後就用自己的雙手抓住伸出布幕的那兩隻手。
大概一分鐘後，他的表情愈來愈嚴肅。
郭玉對國王說。
根據我的經驗，我感覺到這兩隻手的脈並不相同。
這兩隻手的其中一隻手的脈搏的感覺像是男人的脈搏，另一隻手則就像是一個女人的脈搏。
郭玉停頓了一下然後看著國王並對國王說。
我認為這不是同一個人的脈搏，所以我無法做出準確的判斷。
國王聽了之後大笑。
國王對郭玉說。
你真棒，我故意想要捉弄你，但我沒想到那麼快就你發現這雙手中的左手是一個男僕的手而右手是一個女僕的手。
