I no longer care about this matter(置之度外)
During the Han Dynasty in China, historians
divide it into the Western Han Dynasty (202 BC - 8 AD) and the Eastern Han
Dynasty (25 AD - 220 AD).
Between these two dynasties there was a
short-lived new dynasty (9 AD - 23 AD).
The first king of the Eastern Han Dynasty
was named (Liu Xiu).
After the fall of the New Dynasty, China
was in a state of division.
The army led by Liu Xiu fought many battles
and finally unified all of China in 36 AD.
There is a story (of Liu Xiu) recorded in
the history books.
According to the history books, after the
fall of the New Dynasty, China fell into a long period of civil strife, with
warlords all over China fighting each other.
All the people fled everywhere to survive,
and no one cultivated the vast farmland.
People had no food to eat, so many died of
starvation.
The price of grain was very high at that
time, and 120 kilograms of rice cost one kilogram of gold.
As the army led by Liu Xiu won many wars
from 25 AD onwards, the army he led defeated warlords from different places and
his sphere of influence grew.
By 30 AD, Liu Xiu had almost unified all of
China.
There are only two warlords left in China
who have not been defeated by him.
At a banquet in 30 AD, Liu Xiu gave a
speech to the ministers.
After a long period of hard work, we have
finally defeated most of the warlords, and their territories have been brought
under our control.
It has been five years since 25 AD. Under
our rule, in those five years, people from all over China have returned to
their hometowns and started farming.
The harvests from the farmlands can now
meet the needs of all the people, and people no longer have to worry about food
shortages.
People have begun to return to their usual
peaceful lives.
Although there are still two warlords we
have not defeated, I am not in a hurry to defeat these two warlords. I no
longer care about this matter.
I don't think that defeating these two
warlords is our main priority right now.
Our most important task now is to rebuild
the laws and systems that will govern all the people after we establish this
new dynasty.
We should focus on how to take care of the
people first.
I believe that in a few years, when we are
stronger, we will be able to easily defeat these two warlords and achieve our
goal of unifying all of China.
This idiom means that I am no longer
interested in this matter.

我相信不用再過幾年，等我們更加的強大後，我們屆時就可以輕易地打敗這兩個軍閥以實現我們統一整個中國的目標。
這句成語的意思是這件事情我已經不再牽掛。
