Deng Xun(鄧訓/平叔) (40 AD - 92 AD)
His surname is (Deng), his parents gave him
the name (Xun), and when he grew up his friends called him (Uncle Ping). He was
born in Henan Province, China.

In the Eastern Han Dynasty of China, there
was a famous general named (Deng Xun).
There is a story about him in the history
books.
There were several tribes in the north of
the Eastern Han Dynasty, and there were many conflicts between these tribes and
the Eastern Han Dynasty because of competition for economic resources.
He was appointed by the king to garrison a
city on the northern border of the Eastern Han Dynasty. The name of this city
was (Fox Nu).
He established a secure and stable
relationship with the people of these tribes, and together they developed the
land and achieved economic prosperity.
After interacting with the people in those
tribes for a while, he found that when the people in those tribes got incurable
diseases, the sick people in those tribes would commit suicide.
People in these tribes consider it a shame
to die slowly in bed from illness, so people in these tribes choose to die
honourably by ending their own lives.
But after his in-depth research, he found
that the illnesses of these people who committed suicide because of illness
were not actually incurable terminal illnesses.
These diseases could be cured if they were
treated with traditional Chinese medicine.
Since the medicine of these tribes was
underdeveloped, he took the initiative to guide the sick people of these tribes
to seek medical treatment in the cities under his jurisdiction.
He ordered the Chinese doctors in the city
to take good care of these patients.
The patients recovered and happily returned
to their respective tribes.
Because he showed his care and compassion
for the people of these tribes with concrete actions, the people of these
tribes respected and trusted him very much.
In 90 A.D. he was transferred out of this
town and went to work in a town called (Wuwei).
Two winters later he was 53 years old. He
fell ill and died in Wuwei City.
The people in Hunu City were very sad when
they heard the news. They took the initiative to leave their hometown and
travelled more than 1,500 kilometres to pay their respects.
The news of his death also made people from
many tribes around the Eastern Han Dynasty very sad. Every day, thousands of
people from different tribes came to Wuwei City to mourn him. The people of
these tribes mourned a deceased person in a very special way. The people of
these tribes rode on horses and shouted loudly. People in these tribes cut
themselves with knives. The people in these tribes showed their inner pain in
this very intense way.

中國的東漢王朝，有一個著名的將軍，他的名字叫做(鄧訓)。
歷史書上記載了一個關於他的故事。
東漢王朝的北方有好幾個部落，這幾個部落之間與東漢王朝因為爭奪經濟資源所以發生的很多衝突。
他被國王任命駐守東漢王朝北邊邊界的一座城市，這座城市的名字叫做(狐奴)。
他與這些部落的百姓們建立了安全與穩定的關係，他們一起開發這一塊土地，他們一起獲得了經濟上的繁榮。
他與這些部落中的人往來一陣子後發現，這些部落中的人們如果生了難以治癒的疾病後，這些部落中的生病的人們就會自殺。
這些部落中的百姓們認為因為生病而緩慢地躺在床上死去是一件羞恥的事，因此這些部落中的百姓們會選擇以自己結束自己生命的方式光榮地死去。
但是經過他深入的研究後，他發現這些因為生病而自殺的百姓們所生的病其實並不是無藥可醫的絕症。
這些病症只要經過中醫治療後就可以痊癒。
由於這些部落的醫學不發達，因此他主動引導這些部落中的生病的百姓到他所管轄的城市中就醫。
他吩咐這座城市中的中醫醫師們細心照顧這些病人。
這些病人痊癒後很開心地回到他們各自的部落。
因為他用具體的行動表現出他對於這些部落的人民的關心與慈悲，，所以這幾個部落中的人們非常的尊敬與信任他。
西元90年，他被調離這座城市，他到了一座名叫(武威)的城市任職。
2年後的冬天，那一年他53歲。他生了一場病，他死在(武威)城。
狐奴城中的百姓們聽到這個消息後都非常的難過，這些百姓們主動地離開家鄉走了超過1500公里去祭奠他。
他死亡的消息也使得東漢王朝周圍的許多部落的百姓非常的悲傷，每天都有好幾千的各個部落的百姓來到武威城市中哀悼他，這些部落中的百姓們哀悼一個死者的方式非常特別，這些部落中的百姓們騎在馬上然後大聲的叫喊，這些部落中的百姓們拿刀割傷自己，這些部落中的百姓們用這種很激烈的方式表現出自己內心非常的傷痛。
