books.

He said.
It's not easy to do this job well.

every time we make our suggestions to you, we will be very cautious.

improvement in our kingdom, we will study them carefully before bringing you a
report on the one or two things that we feel most urgently need improvement.
When I see something in the Kingdom that
needs improvement, I start thinking about how to explain it to you from morning
till night.
If I present my objections in a way that
makes you unhappy, I may be removed from my position.
Even if officials in our position do a good
job, it is difficult for them to get rewards and praise from you.
Many of my colleagues said things you
didn't like to hear, so you punished them after they criticised you.
We can see and learn many lessons from the
history books, one of which is that if the king of a kingdom is willing to
listen to criticism, then the kingdom will usually become very powerful. If a
king in a kingdom has no one around him who dares to raise objections, the
kingdom will usually decline quickly.

擔任這個官職的人常常會因為自己必須說誠實話所以會得罪人，擔任這個官職的人需要有非常高的道德與勇氣。
他就擔任這樣的官職。
有一天，他在與國王的對話中，他對國王說了自己擔任這個官職後的一些看法。
他說。
要做好這個職位的工作並不容易。
你是國王，你有絕對的權力我們每個大臣的生命與職位都取決在你的手中，因此我們每次要對你提出我們的建議時，我們都會採取非常謹慎的態度。
當我發現了我們十件我們王國中需要改進的事情時，我們會經過仔細的研究後再向你提出我們認為最急迫需要改善的一件或兩件事情的報告。
