During the Three Kingdoms era in China,
there was a famous minister in the Soochow Kingdom, his name was (Lu Xun).
There is a story about him recorded in the
history books.
At the age of 21, he joined the central
government of the Soochow Kingdom as a staff member. A few years later he was
appointed as a local official in the Soochow Kingdom. As his administrative
performance was very good, the king of the Soochow Kingdom appreciated him very
much.
Lu Xun's wife was the daughter of the King
of Soochow's brother. The King of Soochow Kingdom would consult Lu Xun when
making some important decisions.
In 222 AD, the Shu Han Kingdom sent troops
to attack the Soochow Kingdom. The king of the Soochow Kingdom ordered him to
lead the army of the Soochow Kingdom against the army of the Shu Han Kingdom.
After Lu Xun received this personal order,
he immediately led the army to the front line to fight the enemy.
There were many senior generals in the
Soochow Kingdom army. These generals were older than him and had more war
experience than him.
Because Lu Xun did not have good martial

He chose to communicate with these generals
in a very gentle way.
He explained in detail his strategic plan
and why he made the decisions he did. He used patience to persuade these
generals. He succeeded in getting everyone's consent.
After half a year of fighting, the Soochow
Kingdom successfully defeated the Shuhan Kingdom under his leadership.
After the war was won, the generals who
originally looked down on him changed their original opinions about him, and
these generals all respected him.
