There was a poet in the Tang Dynasty in
China. His name was Li Zhong. Many of his poems were included in the poetry
collections of the Tang Dynasty.
Once he wrote a poem after visiting a
concubine in the palace. The main idea of the poem is as follows
I was sitting alone in my room late at
night, looking at the moon outside the window. My door was closed and there was
a heavy curtain by my window.
There is a person in my mind, and that
person is the king of the Tang Dynasty. He was in one of the palaces not far
from my room. The distance between me and him was actually very close, but why
did I feel as far away from him as the end of the sky?
I was tired, so I went back to my
beautiful, soft satin bed, but I couldn't fall asleep.
I looked at the petals scattered on the
floor in front of the silver lamp in front of the silver-white wall, and I felt
as if I were fading like those flowers.
This idiom means that the distance between
me and him is actually very close, but I feel that he is as far away as the end
of the sky.
It is used to describe two people who are
very close to each other but cannot meet.

有一次，他在拜訪過一個皇宮中的嬪妃後所寫下了一首詩，這首詩的大意如下。
