What do you think is the easiest thing to draw(畫鬼最易)

What do you think is the easiest thing to draw(畫鬼最易)

During the Warring States Period in China, a famous thinker (Han Fei), he wrote a story.

The king of the Qi Kingdom hired a famous painter to paint for him in the palace.

The king asked the painter, you have painted so many things, what do you find the most difficult to paint.

The painter replied, I think the most difficult painting is a dog or a horse.

The king asked the painter again, that you have painted so many things, what do you think is the easiest to paint?

The painter replied, I think ghosts are the easiest to paint.

The king was curious and asked why the painter thought so.

The painter replied. Dogs and horses are animals we often see on the road. Everyone is familiar with the looks of dogs and horses.

Therefore, as long as there is a little difference in my painting, it will be criticized by everyone.

Ghosts are not the same as dogs or horses. None of us have actually seen ghosts. I just need to paint casually and say that this is the ghost I saw. No one can refute my statement.

This idiom is used to remind us that we should use specific objective standards to test a thing or a persons words and actions.

Dear friend, what inspiration or ideas do you have after hearing this story.

When examining your own behavior, do you follow objective standards? If others provide you with suggestions, are you willing to respect the facts and face your own mistakes?

I hope this story can give you a little gain.

(What do you think is the easiest thing to draw)
